Hello people i really need help. I want to know how to increase voltage in a simple circuit. Just say you have the most simple circuit there is you have a 9V battery connected by wires to a multimeter. How can you increase the voltage in a circuit like that?

1) Charge up a capacitor with the battery.
2) Disconnect the capacitor from the battery.
3) The side of the capacitor that WAS connected to the battery's negative terminal, connect to the battery's positive terminal.
4) Measure the voltage from the battery negative terminal to the capacitor's positive terminal. It will be roughly double your original reading.
