hi all i have bought some flexible led smd lights from ebay

i want to add them to this circuit i have made replace the led's with the smd strips
so i need to replace Q1 to Q8 but with what componant i say componant as i have been advised to use others so i will ask some experts what to use (logic fets)
i do not know the power consumption but have asked the supplier for help

the supply voltage is 5V to the 16f chip but the lights are 12V how could i get around that 2N2222A ?

 

About 3/4 down this page is how to wire it up. Don't use the zener diode or the resistors.

sorry juist realised it turns on and off the -V and it dont matter if the =V is 12V
