i wanna ask about proximity inductive Autonics PRD30-25DN datasheet. what the difference sensing distance and setiing distance in datasheet? I measure the range sensing with iron for target detect and the maximum distance is 17.5mm. this sensor just has 17.5mm maximum sensing distance but why in datasheet writed maximum distance is 25mm.

This is the test set up setting. You use a piece of iron 75mmX 75mmX 1mm thick to set up the sensor at 17.5mm distance from the sensor.
