I have to terminate this sennheiser headset to a 4 pin XLR

What is the Microphone LO, Microphone Hi and same with the Audio Hi and Audio Lo??

Impedence?

Lo is the designation that wire is to be connected to the "ground" of the respective audio circuit, i.e. Mic Lo ties to the Mic ground and Audio Lo ties to the headphone amplifier ground. These are likely to be kept separate.

Do you have a pinout of how to wire the XLR connector? Are you using PTT?

According the headset PDF, there are several mic options. Which mic do you have? All the headphone impedance says 300Ω "per system", so I'm guessing that it is 600Ω per earpiece, since they could be wired either mono or stereo.

I will have to check if it's a dynamic or a condenser mic. I hope it's dynamic the base station that I need to hook it up to only has a dynamic option. No no PTT.

The base station is a Telex RTS Digital Intercom similar to that one

I was thinking of using the same wiring as that headset but that one is mono only so I would put the L-R wire on the same XLR pin.

Here's what I have so far. I'm not to sure about the L-R from the headset Do I have to short pin 1 and 4?

XLR 4 PIN************* HMD 46 colour wires

Pin 1 ground --------------Screen
Pin 2 mic (-) --------------blue (mic LO)
Pin 3 mic (+)--------------red (mic HI)
Pin 4 audio Left----------- audio HI Left & audio HI Right???????
