I am just getting into Electronics and just so happen I am learning about television now. I haven't gotten this far in my course work but from looking at schematics and diagrams of the signals from the antenna to the actual picture can be seen on the television screen. With all television stations changing to HDTV, I was wondering where the HDTV would but put in the circuit ?
I figured since you pick up the signal and you can buy an antenna that will pick up the signal then it must be before the i-f but then again if it is built in I was wondering if it could be some place else. maybe someone could further explain this too me.
