Loosewire wants all the members of the the Forum to have
wonderful Labor day. I have tested my water melon early
not the best, but it will do.I hope that everyone is doing well
and looking forward to a day off.
I don't Miami has there road race any more, maybe the Homestead
speed way took there business.By bringing attention to Retched he
may pop on,Like Beenthere people take a break when needed.
We used to have racing in Birmingham, unfortunately before I came here. It was in the days before safety had been invented, there's an accident near the end that the driver was lucky to walk away from. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xg8DVTBx5wk
I had a great Labor day weekend, even if I did labor thru most of it. I worked a piece of the Huntington Lighthouse Music Festival, the only concert in the world held on top of a working lighthouse.
As the lighthouse is in the middle of Huntington Harbor, you need a boat to attend, though I did see some kayaks, paddle boards, and at least one inner tube.
I see the Sea Tow banner, maybe some of you will check in and
respond to the range of service of sea tow.Nation wide or world
wide. There is a fine line in the differents of fee's.Some people
think they are getting a boat tow and end up paying recovery fee
going into the thousands of dollars, anyone know the differents
in the fees, ever been boat towed by Sea Tow.
SeaTow is one of our better sponsors as they donate some money and some very essential services, such as a crane to load in and out the generators we use, plus a larger boat for all the sound equipment.
AFAIK SeaTow basically operates as towing insurance: if you are a (pre-paid) member they will come out and tow you safely back to land for no charge. Same to tug you off that sand bar you missed on your chart.
Any and all fees above that paid membership fee will be discussed and a signed agreement will be executed before any work is performed. It's a good outfit.
If you wait to get stuck then sorry, you can't just join up and expect to get a discounted towing fee.
