is right below where they are being set off,you get to see them,you get feel them.

I'm not sure about that, but maybe you are right.
In my childhood that I ever seen the firework factory explosing the fireworks, and the explosives mixed some stuffs flying to my village, the factory is far from my village about 6 hundreds miles away.

Actually I never been there to see the fireworks show when it start from 2004, because too many people out there, last week about 80% of million(800,000) of people around 101 to see the show, but I have been watching the show far from 101 which beside the river in another city.
