I like to reverse Engineer this

So who's gonna help me ?

I think I need to know the part no.'s first, Eh!.
them transistors and diodes..so I can draw the schema..NO ?

I got high res Pics..uploading them now..it will take some time.

High res links are now available.

Keep giggling..

Once I draw a schema out of it and showed it to ya, you would want to build something similar.

It's how the heat is controlled I am interested in.

U see, this thing takes 220VAC and regulates the heat of the plates without feed back and it is done through a SCR.

This is what interests me.

I blew the SCR, the wires shorted due to insulation wear. That's why I took it apart but always been interested in studying it..so here's my chance.
First I need to replace the SCR and take some voltages..

OK..since I lost most of my PDF files you guys gave me..
I like to know what the SMD transistor no.s are.
Can any one decipher the part no. ?
Please..!

to really understand it u got to see this.

Can any one tell me what they are actually, I mean the data sheets.

I'd like to try and help, but I cannot see the red letters on the black! Could you do it with white bold letters please?:)

Which pins are the input voltage, which are the output to the heater element?

The white/yellow device, soldered to both ends that sticks out, is that a thermal fuse or a thermistor?

The unexpected happened.

The comparator chip blew when I gave power after putting a new SCR.

Interesting..:D

BAAAANG !

The picture has solder jumpers. Don't get hasty.. Pictures were taken during the de-soldering !

Operation ?

If I tell you that the old SCR has Split. Would you believe that it is bad.
And I do mean literally...

To figure out anything I need to know the transistor part no.'s ...don't you think?

I figured you'd have a schematic done by now. :D
