As the title asks, I am looking for help creating a NPN transistor H bridge to control a dc motor for steering a remote control car. So far I have prototyped my circuit in software but am not getting the voltages I was hoping for. I must add that I am fairly new to the electronic world so I am eager to learn the best and easiest way to control a dc motor.

You can view my circuit in the attached images. Both pictures represent the polarity changes to move the motor cw or ccw. The wire in the middle is where my motor is going to go. I actually had a resistor there before to represent the load but I must of accidently removed it. What I am trying to do is to use my 5v microcontroller to control a 9 volt dc motor. The 9 volt source is the one I am trying to switch in order to drive the motor cw or ccw using the microcontroller.

Thanks for your time and have a nice day.
