Hi everybody,new to this forum,I'm building a new rig & i was gifted a Thermaltake 1200 Grand PSU,my specs are;

Intel I7 3930 CPU
Phanteks PH-TC14PE
WD 1TB caviar black HHD
sabertooth x79 LGA 2011 MB
corsair Low Profile ram 1600 16GB
MSI 7870 hawk GPU
cooler master CM Storm Trooper case
(still waiting delivery on some parts)

my question is regarding the 1200 grand,I've read lots of poor reviews regarding it & was wondering if anyone else has used this PSU?
Was originally considering the PC power & cooling Mk III 1200W Silencer Series for my rig. any good advice appreciated, this is going to be my video editing & 3d animation/graphics P.C. no plans to overclock as yet.

It's a very capable power supply that fair enough isn't the very best but it's far from being poor. You'll only be pulling 400W at full throttle so give it a go, it'll be fine!
