I have been reading thru auto mechanic books really interested in knowing
how the wheels spin from the engine.

Heres what I know enginee --- transmission---differential --axis--wheels
I am curious how the engine ties into the transmission?
How the transmission ties into the differential?

If anybody is a mechanic out their and has some pic's of the hook up process from the engine to transmission that would help. As well as for transmission to differential hook up?

Yup...Google "clutch" for manual transmissions, "Torque Converter" for automatic transmissions. In a rear wheel drive vehicle, the drive shaft goes into the rear axle gear case where it powers the rear axles. Yes, there are two... How is it that when you go around a corner, one tire has to spin faster than the other? Google "differential"
