Hello everyone,
I have to design a full bridge converter and simulate it in matlab.
The problem is i am referring 2 books
1) pulse width modulated dc-dc converter by marian k. kazimierczuk
2) switching power supply design by abraham i. pressman, keith billings and taylor morey.

and in both the books the full bridge converter based on a buck topology. i want to design full bridge converter based on boost topology..

please can anybody suggest where can i get the design procedure for that..

 

The full bridge is simply the way to get the unregulated DC voltage you work with to either boost or buck from to a regulated output voltage. It is unrelated to the theory of designing a buck or a boost.

 

ok so u mean to say that i should design the full bridge and bost converter separately..

but my question is wont there be problem in designing the transformer which is being used??

 

i understood wat i have to do.
i think i'll be able to design the converter now.
