what is the exact sensor for measuring force of greater magnitude.. i.e a crash. during an accident the force generated may be a higher order one.. the sensor must be capable of keeping its output not disturbed by the heat or vibrations that may exist before and after the collision..

 

It would be helpful to know what specific thing you are interested in instrumenting. Also your application.

Your interest is very similar to the instrumentation place aboard aircraft. The sensors are not proof against injury, but their readings are recorded in a datalogger that is designed to survive crashes. Have you done any research into aircraft black boxes?

Most conventional force transducers are just not fast enough to portray impact forces.
