I have a Fluke i410 clamp on AC/DC current adapter for Fluke DMM's. It has worked flawlessly for many years but has now bitten the dust. It always puts out 4vdc.
Is there a place to obtain schematics for this kind of stuff, or a place that can repair it for less than an arm and a leg?

Thanks,

Joe

Typical AC/DC current clamps use a linear hall device to measure the current. Sounds like the hall device is faulty if its stuck on 4v.

I sold the Jag so I guess you could call me the Flukemiester now. I took that clamp on unit apart today. It has an 8 trace flexible pcb terminating in a 8 slot connector. It was loose. I had a hard time reconnecting it because it was very short and very small. It was almost as hard assembling the rest of it.
A big reason their stuff is so expensive is that it is not designed for manufacturing.
