it only reads down to 200ma. You may want something a little more sensitive.

You can get $20 meters that are better for logic level stuff. Even the 8 dollar meters at Harbor Freight have options such as temperature and diode testing, and NPN / PNP transistor testers.

the 25 dollar one even has temperature and frequency testing. and more sensitivity / better accuracy

The Fluke 115 is a true RMS type multimeter. So it can measure AC waveforms accurate above the 50/60 mains frequency. A typical multimeter can not do that
What do you plan to do with your instrument?

aac9876, once you have the job, choose the right tool for the job.

Is it going to be for logic level / hobby stuff or high-voltage contracting? something in between?
