Hi All,
I am currently doing a final year project as part of my electrical engineering degree and have hit a major stumbling block. I am doing a project on electric rail systems and want to simulate an AC-DC or a DC-AC converter using Tina, I want to use IGBT's but dont know how to get the circuit to work, i.e how or when to fire the IGBTs
I would be so grateful for any help,

If you don't, in final year, know about this type of thing, what were you doing all the years you were in class?

 

Look at the data sheet for the IGBTs and look up "three phase motor bridge" for starters.
