Filter, integrator, lead compensator?

I have another idea that I would like to write a quick article about. It deals with an op-amp (inverting) being used as a practical inverting integrator, low pass filter, or lead-compensation all have the exact same circuit configuration: Rg, Rf, and Cf.
You will never find these circuits all in the same place, and I have found that it leads to some confusion. I have never put much thought into it either, so my immediate response would be that it depends on what you need to do, and pick the values accordingly.
Just because you have good values for a low pass filter, does not mean it would be good as an integrator, etc.
What do you think?
