i would appericiate if you also mention in your segment about reactance,
that how one can calculate the reactance to a nonsinusoid, eg a square wave

Two points, a square wave is the sum of many frequencies, harmonics of the root frequency.

The reactance for the base frequency is the same as a sine wave. The harmonics that make a wave form square have to be calculated independently.
