yea the IC is Cmos NAND Gate 4011....C1 is 470uF R1 is 47k D1 is 1N914

 

i want to connect this circuit with my generator that whenever i turn my generator on it gives supply to my house after x seconds...if this circuit is not suitable plz suggest me other or any idea of yours...

The circuit is creating a delay between the push of the button and the switching of the relay.

The CD4011 can't drive a relay directly.
