equivalent circuit of a alternator and starter

    hi friends,

    i need the equivalent circuit of a alternator and a starter for automotives. i want to simulate in orcad pspice.

    I presume you want more than a schematic for them; do you also want the winding inductances and the like? Does it matter what year or model? You might try auto salvage yards to see if they have some used ones you can pick up for a decent price and find the info you need.

    Another thing to try is to check with libraries and service departments at your local car dealerships to see if they have alternator and starter dchematics. If they do you can copy them. Ditto for the internet. Of course you won't find the winding inductance or Q but they'll show the component arrangements. Maybe you can glean the info you need from them.
