This is a digital set top box which was not working , powersupply just ticking. Its 15Mths old just out of 12Mth warranty period. Pics show power supply & testing the 4 x 1000uf 10V caps, there is 3 faulty ones I replaced.

 

Testing the other 3x 470uf 25v caps, these are ok. After replacing the 3 x 1000uf caps the unit now works. I must add that these units do run fairly warm when left on contiuously so they slowly cook the caps.
