I'm looking for a reasonably priced EPROM eraser suitable for basic hobbyist use only.

A quick look on eBay reveals a wide range of choices and prices and I was hoping that somebody could point me in the right direction.

I don't want to buy a cheap piece of junk or waste money on something that's more than I really need.

Thanks in advance.

you NEED ULTRAVIOLET light just like from the sun. Except the ray from the sun are not enough it will take years to erase an eprom. Any UV source is good enough but not if placed meters from it or too close then you cook the EPROM about an inch is good.
