Dear all,
im new to the world of pics but i do have some eletronic background, im looking to make a simple timer solution using a pic so i can learn a bit more.
The project is is quiet simple i want two switch's one to start the timer and one to stop the timer, once the stop signal is recieved i want the elapased time in minutes displayed on a giant two digit display , hopefully made from leds.
I am a beginner i would like some help as to where to start ie what pic chip circuit design and some ideas on the display.
I saw some leds on like a sticky back tape that you cut to length and add voltage too, so i was wondering if i could make my own giant led display using separate segment strips ? just a thought.
