One more question about ITT, Tech. Lets say a person has his BS degree from there, and then he takes his EIT test(which they are able to sit in for as well, as long as they have 3 years tech experience) and passes and has the license. Is he just as good as the person from a normal university?

Alas....the advertisements for ITT, DeVry, and a few others say right up front that credit may not be transferrable. For a working technician, that may not be a problem. A good friend of mine who went throught DeVry was snatched up by Qualcomm right out of the chute, and he's been making a fortune ever since. But he still would have to start from scratch if he wanted a college degree.

I would say, they're good, practical technical training, but not academic.
