DxDesigner ref des problem...

Hi group,

I am new here so I hope this isn't a old topic... I am a pcb designer, I have used pretty much all the latest tools from boardstation, to cadence, to altium, to expedition, to orchad, etc.

I am currently using DxDesigner and pads, two design tools I have low experience with. Opening a old desing from the companie I work for, I was finally able to add additionnal component for a new revision, they had completly change all the companny path so I won't tell all the problems I went thru to fix it... Now I can't change the ref des of the new component I added. The property box is fixed to C,? R?, and J?.

So here is my question, does anyone know how to fix this? Has anyone ever encountered such a issue?
