Anybody here knows what happened to dutchforce.com? I get this error

hello , i didn't see a "new members say howdy" section ... i most likely missed it .

dutchforce shutdown ? maybe , maybe not ...
as far as available information goes , i have not been able to find out much of anything one way or the other .
in communicating with another member , reference was made to some odd-ball stuff that is happening over that way . i am awaiting further information on that comment .

Interesting site, I hadn't seen it before. It is the 4th hardcore electronics site I've seen (and one of the older ones was pretty bad).

Where is their main geographical area of interest I wonder?

It concentrates mainly on europe.

I did have a look over there.
I found out they miss something we do have:
You can not upload pictures over there.
They say that you have to use a picture storage site like picassa or photobucket and link them to the forum.

The economics of owning a website could cause the requirement for offsite pictures and using only links.

 

I wonder about that. I just got back from Fry's, data storage is cheap. I suspect bandwidth is expensive though, and will likely stay that way.
