i have one more problem which is

i have some heating spring rodes and i want to use these spring rods as a dummy load for discharging a battery bank/banks.

how i can use these spring rodes for my desired purpose. i mean which combination os these rods i use to make a 20 amp load.

I agree. You may just have to measure them and see what sort of resistance they are. (You just want to be sure they don't glow white hot, or the resistance will change drastically!)

I just got finished building a 1KW R.F. dummy load using four 250 watt heat lamps in series/parallel. Comes out to be almost EXACTLY 50 ohms at 1 KW. Sort of a poor-man's "Cantenna". This is one case where a white-hot dummy load is okay.
