Have 2 different schematics for a 10 LED chasing circuit = 1 6v and 1 9v. The schematics have small differences. I'm looking for one that will operate with 12 volts. The LED's will be embedded in casting resin, in a spare tire cover with a "fire-breathing dragon' cast into it. I would like the "flame" to light (chase) when the brake lights go on. The 10 segment bargraph looks good but what small changes need to be made to handle 12v. ?? ;)

Posting schematics would greatly help, also list LED specs. Most likley need only to change LED ciurrent limiting desistor.

Use the 9v schematic, but add a 9v voltage regulator circuit to the front end of it.

An LM7809 with a .33uF input cap and .1uF output cap would fix you right up.
