can anyone suggest me good book for transmission lines and wave guides.
i have a question to ask
according to maxwell equations changing magnetic field produces a curling electric field and viceversa (correct if wrong)..then in case of antennas how can electric field aligns along the axis of the antenna instead of curl

 

I'm not sure of the question, but visualize the receiving antenna working exactly the same as the transmitting antenna, only in reverse. A changing magnetic field will generate an electic field at a right angle to itself. This will induce a current in a wire (just the way an alternator works).

then where comes the maxwells third equation....where del(cross)E represents the curl of electric field is = rate of change of magnetic field
