hello everyone,

can any one please tell me where is the input power supply terminal in the circuit diagram (click here).

iam really confused with the term DC 12V AND PA 12V,


IS THESE TWO ARE TWO DIFFERENT POWER SOURCE OR A SINGLE POWER SOURCE ?

PLEASE MAKE ME CLEAR.

I'm guessing it is a matter of isolation and regulation. They want the two power supplies to be somewhat isolated to prevent any feedback mechanism. The DV 12v should also be highly regulated and filtered. The PA 12v is the heavy power supply, is provides the current, and will likely be harder to regulate because of it. It should still be regulated and filtered, but it will require more power, a lot more.

They should be two different regulators, effectively two different power supply though they could share the same unregulated power supply.

Both are the power supply input, for different parts of the circuitry.
