doesn't datasheet of transistor mention its saturation point?

Hi :)

I wanted to if the saturation point of one transistor varies from another. I think it does which would mean every different make of a transistor has a difference saturation point and the datasheet includes it as one of the characteristics. Please let me know. Thank you.

You need to review the datasheets for the transistors that you are considering.

However, the general rule is Ib=Ic/10 to saturate any given transistor; and don't exceed 1/2 of the maximum Ic rating.

For example, a 2N3904 is rated for max Ic=200mA, but above ~100mA the Vce becomes excessive, so if 100mA or more Ic is required, a more capable transistor should be selected.
