Been looking for a mpf102 jfet for a noisy cricket amp but been struggling to find one, there are some on eBay but it would take about a month to arrive and that's far too long. Had a look at other threads but struggled on finding any of those in the UK, does any body know any alternatives for it?

Both Mouser and Digikey have the MPF102 but no stock.
But they do both have 2N3819.

 

Thanks but the problem with those is £12 ($16) for shipping, a bit too expensive i think.

Its discontinued on rapid and the other 2 don't have it

 

Search 'jfet' at RS-online. No MPF102 or 2N3819 listed, but various alternatives. Be aware that most of them come in packs of 10 or 50.

 

Farnell have J112 - ON Semi recommended alternative to 2N3819
