I am trying to setup signal lights on my dirt bike because it is a dual purpose 125cc 4 stroke Honda sl125 1971, I have the lights hooked up and working, but if I turn the headlight on at the same time then it blows the 5amp fuse, so I was wondering if anyone knew what the system ampere threshold is, the lights will work with a 7.5 amp fuse so I was also wondering if just letting the amperage be raised a little bit, would it burn out parts really fast? 6v battery.

EDIT: I use 5 amp fuses because I don't know the systems max amperage.
