Can any one explain how to make a bus connection with Dip Trace?

I have the 8 pins of a shift register and I want to connect them to the 8 data pins of an LCD. How do I do this?

I tried. Well to tell you the truth not the tutorial version but the help file version of it and the tutorial version is not much better.

Maybe it is me but the help / tutorial in Dip Trace is horrible. It reads like it was written by someone that does not speak English as a first language.

I dd just think of searching on youtube for demos and got some hits. I'll have to check them out.

The video is slightly better. Did I do this right?

What I did was to draw the bus on the page then connect a wire to the bus giving them Net names to their corresponding pins.

That's how I do it in Eagle.

Something like this:
Placing a bus
Naming the bus: bus[0..7]
And then add nets to it, and name the nets.

If I remember correctly the originator of Diptrace is Russian.
I see the same issues with my Zeroplus Logic Analyzer. These are not exactly tiny companies, you think they would have at least a few people that understand the products and could rewrite the help file.
