I have a ez textron ez go full charger 111 and was told it had 2 diodes in the heatsink that may need replacing.It is for a 1993 textron golf cart. The model number of the charger is 26984.Also it is 120 volts 6hz 1025aaaz. Any help with what kind of diodes size,power or part# would be very much appreciated. Thank you

 

From the picture of it I see on the net it does have a couple of big diodes, but to answer your question correctly you will probably need to open it up to find out more about them. There seems to be several things that could make it not work. Are you pretty sure it's the diodes?

 

Did you read your manual? It says it's a 18488G1 silicon rectifier like this.

I'm sure you could find additional alternatives if you can find the electrical specs of that part.

A diode is easy to test. I'd certainly want to confirm it was bad before buying a new one.

 

Make sure it's not just a dead battery.

That's the most common failure.
