Hello Everyone,

I am working on Rectifier design and for that I am looking rectifier diode. Here some Tech details of the rectifier design:
AC input: 30 Volts, @ f=40 MHz

Required DC Output: 20 Volts , 100 mA so P(out) 2Watts.

With above reference can I use Schottky Barrier Diode with Power Dissipation with Minimum Trace − 190 mW for this rectifier circuit ? Will it be possible for diode to handle 2Watts of power ?

Can anybody suggest me something

Thanking You,

Diodes are rated by voltage and current. So a Schottky diode with at least a 0.2A and 50V rating should work.

But 30VAC RMS will give you about 42V peak output. How are you getting rid of the extra 20V?
