Dimmer(with photocoupler and 555timer)

    it called AND8011/D made by onsemi.com I guess...

    I knue how it work, almost... think controler is 2.5kΩ potentiometer,

    but don't know, why 10kΩ potentiometer(max 10kΩ) is exist...

    plz let me know why that exsit...

    The 10K pot adjusts the phase of the AC power line synchronization--makes sure that the 555 resets at voltage zero crossing--probably not very critical
