Digital Pot Question

In general you can use a digital pot in place of an analog pot but you must meet the digital pot's voltage limits for it to operate properly (typically the terminal voltages must be within the pot supply voltage)

Hey Jason,

Have you figured out how you will provide a digital signal for the pot?

Nothing is set in stone but I was trying to use a push button style of digital pot instead of using a rather expensive 10 turn pot ... I thought about using a encoder and chip but I don't know how to program and that's the same problem with the screen..

Why don't you have a go at Arduino, it's really easy, and because it's open source, you can practically do it on a breadboard......
