hi friends,
i tried working out the differentiator circuit with 0.01μf capacitor and 2kΩ resistor. what resistance at source or capacitance in parallel must i attach to get it actually working
Adding resistance or capacitance isn't the answer. How you have the components setup, what signal your using at the input, and where you are measuring the output of the differentiator are the questions that need to be answered.
A 0.01 uF capacitor and a 2k resistor makes a fine differentiator.
Producing poor results in the real world enviroment can be replicated using simulators. The answer lies in the "how" you did the experiment.
Your schematic annoted with your readings will be of help.
