and greetings from me! I would like to know more about differential frequency measurement but unfortunately I only come across articles of commercial websites. I'd be grateful if someone would point me the right direction (theory, links, circuits etc.)

Basically, I would like to measure an oscillator's frequency by a method different than a frequency counter. If I'm not mistaken this method can provide faster measuring rates thus gives better resolution of a rapid frequency changes.

I need this for an experiment with our frequency counted QCM instrument.
