I hooked up my multimeter to measure amp draw for my 240 VAC far infra red heat panels
I measured 2.31 amps for each panel
However did I err by not multiplying the 2.31 by 2 because it is 240 and I have two hot leads and no neutral?
Or stated another way:
When measuring one conductor to a 240 appliance testing for amp draw, should I double the reading from the one conductor to compensate for the other hot conductor?
