Do you think that this is realistic? Is it possible to have synthetic diamond electronic components in near future?

 

Oh, it is definitely possible. Diamond is among the best thermal conductors known to man, and it is definately a semiconductor. Graphite, another form of carbon, looks like it is in the lead on this game though.

I think they need to solve the problem of making large wafers before it's useful.
The page is full of ads and a popup so don't click if you don't like that sort of thing. There isn't any real scientific information there.
