Ok, I have sorta figured out a solution. So I remember that in a final project I had for one of my circuit classes in college, my group partner designed a delay cell, where the output is just a delayed version of the input. Since he built this using mosfets, the input impedance of the delay cell is very high. So I put that in between the capacitor and pmos combo and the schmitt trigger. The result was I did produce a ramp signal, and the schmitt trigger and inverters work as intended, but the duty cycles of the square waves is very high. I was expecting that duty cycle be around 50 percent. I wanted to ask if anyone here has every deigned a delay cell before with mosfets and how you managed to get it to functoin properly. Below is a copy of my schematic. The big block is the schmitt trigger and the little blocks are the inverters.
