Hi all,

Finally have gotten around to updating the E-Book's design so that it is more consistent with the forums

http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/

Any feedback would be appreciated. I'm still messing around with some of the colours (links, etc) and I'm very open to any changes.

Happy Holidays!

Dave and I have talked a bit about adding updates, here and there. I'd like to help finish the book where I'm qualified.

As a suggestion color code the pending red and incomplete sections/chapters yellow.

The redesign is good. I do notice that the table of contents pages are low contrast, though. The light blue on white is a bit hard to make out.

beenthere, I agree. I switched to a different blue and it's more readable now.

Bill, different color links for pending/incomplete is a great idea, i'll look into this.

bertus, PDFs have been available for a long time. For example, visit http://www.allaboutcircuits.com/vol_2/index.html and the PDF link is on the right beside 'Print'.

Thanks all.

Rob,

I'm pleased to see the main site update we have mentioned previously, the design is certainly more subtle in terms of colours and combinations on the eye. Good work.

A couple of possible tweak to have a think about:

1. Would it be an idea to drop the Nav-bar (the part with link to each volume) at the top of the AAC header - similar to the design on the forums.

2. How about truncating the width of the page to something similar to the forums?

3. Is the gap above the e-book location a little big? (See black rectangle in picture). I have tried this in IE, Firefox and Opera and it renders the same in all browsers.

EDIT: I note that the gap is the same above the "Search this site" part, so perhaps is this by design?
