we were given a project to create a fm reactance modulator withtout any background of the topic.. i have been searching for a design and found some.. the problem is that what values to use for the resistors , capactors, transisor etc..

can someone help me on designing this circuit..
any formulas or reference i can use to get the values for the elements?

we were only given the carrier frequency of 2Mhz..

 

can i ask whats the purpose of the capacitor?

designs that i saw and searched for reactance modulator does not have this capacitor..
