hi all,
i need to find the decibel value of a sound using MATLAB. I have a sound file in .wav format. I used the wavread command and plotted it using plot command. In the graph, I get values in y axis which are in the range of 0-1. Are these values in decibel?
If not, is there a method to find the decibel value of a sound using MATLAB. Is there a command or toolbox which can be used to find the sound intensity.
