Decibel Gain & Linear Gain

    Each of three cascaded amplifiers has a decibel voltage gain of 15. What is the overall decibel voltage gain? What is the overall linear voltage gain?

    dB gains do add. To get the linear gain you use this:

    AVdB = 20 log (V1/V2)

    To get the linear part back, divide by 20 and then take 10(exp X)
