Hi All,
I am middle of my homework and have to make DC to AC converter by using SCR. I do not know how to implement SCR in the circuit. Also have to draw this circuit in simulation software such as pspice.

Any help would be appreciate!!
Thanks,

You will have to use an inverter topology to make DC into AC. SCR's have to have the voltage across them fall to zero before they will turn off - if you turn one on with DC, it will simply stay in conduction.

You can feed the DC to the center tap of a transformer and alternate conduction through FET's tied to the outer windings to do the trick.

i need to have it on low scale but have to build it. i have 6 v dc and convert it to 12 v ac 60 hz ... (or if possible 120 v ac)

first on simulation software and then have to apply those idea on breadboard.

therefore i need circuit first to understand how it will be done

I just noticed this is a homework assignment, so I moved it to the correct section.

Perhaps you could get started by doing some independent research into inverters. There is more than one way to make one.
