hello everyone,
I bought a new 12v dc water pump for my project . When i directly connect it to a battery it dont work... there was a small 1second vibration thats is .. please help me to drive that motor with simple circuit as possible.
If this is simply a 12 volt motor that will not run when connected to the proper power supply, no amount of circuits will make it run. Please tell whether this is just a 12 volt motor or something else.
If it is a centrifugal pump and the polarity was not correct, you may have unscrewed the impeller from the motor shaft causing it to bind in the housing.
Unless it is a pulse pump, similar to the old style automotive petrol pump, it behaves this way if you had the outlet blocked, however, a short burst until the pressure was met and shut off.
Max.
But what is the pump technology?
Impeller? diaphragm or pulse? Etc?
Did you measure the resistance across the leads?
If left disconnected does it react the same when power is reapplied?
Max.
The problem was there was nothing written upon the motor.so i tried by increasing the current by keeping 12v Dc constant. When it was about 2Amps IT WORKED ... THANKS EVERYONE for reply
