I want to replace the motor on the left with the motor on the right. However it does not seem to run when I connect it to the battery plate pictured. There is switching a mechanism within in the device; it is that long piece of metal attached to the plate. I tested this motor on breadboard with a 9V battery and it worked fine. Any suggestions? How can I test the battery plate?
